Our first illustration project Reinventions: Book Covers is being exhibited at 2012 Print Odyssey on Friday (25 May 2012)! Can’t wait.
Greeted by the up-beat sounds of a sea-shanty band, and a really buzzy atmosphere (they pulled in quite a crowd) we had an excellent time at last night’s opening of ’Fathoms Deep’, a nautical themed pop-up event curated by Zombie Collective at The Hayward Gallery Shop.
With a £1,000…

Earlier this year, ‘Cocaine’ (which usually produces T-shirts) asked for submissions by Artists to design cards for a 54 card deck. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while, so I decided I’d have a go. A lot of the cards had already been taken by the time I found found of the project, so I decided to go with the four of Spades. I think this worked out quite nicely in the end as I’m very pleased with my finished work. In particular the greyhound and the Scottish terrier. Check out the other Artists involved and I’ll post when the cards are released! http://www.54project.thecocaine.co/

Fathom’s Deep is an exhibition set up by Zombie collective that I was lucky enough to be chosen to be part of. I’ve been screen-printing especially for the event and have created this humpback whale inspired poster in a limited edition of ten.
Fathom’s Deep is taking place in the Hayward Gallery’s ‘This Is Not A Pop-up’ space from May 17th-June 3rd.
This T-rex Sketch was drawn by Abigail Stevens for Ten paces and Draw ‘carnivores’ week. I had the pleasure of finishing it. The sketch was sent at what I think is a little bit more finished than usual so there was an even greater challenge to finish it. I hope I did the sketch justice.
The second week of Ten Paces and Draw had the theme ‘Carnivores’. I created this sketched based on the story ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. The final was done by Abigail Stevens, who spun it into more of a garden monster, and made a really lovely final image.
This Goonies themed sketch was given to me by Victor Melendez for ‘Ten Paces and Draw’. I had a lot of fun completing it. It’s always a challenge to finish somebody Else’s sketch but really satisfying when you’re finished.
